Boat shoes: Sperry | Handbag: Sole Society
When it comes to my personal style I love trying out different looks. Classic one day, boho the next, maybe a little glam the following week, but there is one fashion area that I seldom experiment with, and that involves my choice of handbag. I will often rock the same old crossbody, satchel or tote for months and months until it is practically falling apart. At least I can never be charged with accessory neglect!
My guy gifted me with a lovely gray crossbody bag from Vince Camuto over the holidays that I adore, but as versatile as it is (seriously...that bag goes with everything!), I've been in need of some accessory alternatives. And so I started on a journey. It was (not really) long, (hardly) treacherous, and a true test of my (credit card's) will to persevere! Okay, who am I kidding? I love to shop and any excuse is a good one in my book!
So when I spotted a Sole Society sale a few weeks ago I decided to take just a quick peek at their handbag selection...and that's when I met Coco. She and I had a serious moment late that fateful evening and it wasn't long before that pretty little handbag was safely stowed in my shopping cart.
From the gorgeous cognac color to the sturdy drawstring closure, roomy interior and laser-cut detailing, this is one great everyday bag. There's even an adjustable strap so I can customize the fit. And the cinched style is just so fun. I can leave it slightly open and slouchy or closed tight to create a traditional bucket bag look.
I've indulged in a few more handbags recently, which you'll meet soon enough, but for now I'm quite happy with little Coco. Just don't tell Vince - I hear he's the jealous type.
